Hall of Famer Barry Larkin wore this red Cincinnati Reds batting helmet during the 1985-86 seasons as part of his 19-year career in Cincinnati. Larkin, a shortstop who could hit for power and average, won the 1995 NL MVP Award and made 12 All-Star teams. This red batting helmet features the Cincinnati Reds’ famous wishbone “C” logo on the front. The helmet displays outstanding use with substantial surface scuffing throughout. This helmet was constructed of high impact plastic and foam padding. The labels have been removed from the back, which would have most likely featured an MLB logo, Larkin’s number and ABC (American Batting Helmet Company) logo. Larkin signed the brim of this size 7 1/8 helmet, adding the inscription “95 NL MVP” and “Gamer” in black Sharpie. This helmet comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a LOA from PSA/DNA LOA (AB13361) for the signature.
