That old saying “Practice Makes Perfect” can certainly be applied to former Indianapolis Colts running back Edgerrin James. During the 2005 season, James rushed for 1,506 yards and caught 44 passes for 14 total touchdowns and 1,843 total yards as he helped the Colts to a 14-2 regular season record.

James wore this practice jersey and matching pants for practice use during the 2005 season. The Reebok size 54 jersey is a combination mesh and Spandex white jersey with his number “32” screen-printed in blue on the front and back. The NFL EQUIPMENT shield patch is sewn at the base of the V-neck collar and the team tag “05-52” is sewn on the inside back collar. The back of the jersey has been pulled together at the center and tied with tape. The jersey displays moderate use.

Also included in this lot are the matching white Reebok pants. Like game pants, these are made of a Spandex material and have the two blue stripes down each side. The Reebok logo patch is sewn on the upper right thigh, while the NFL EQUIPMENT patch is sewn on the upper left thigh. The inside waist band has the Reebok tag sewn on and James’ number “32” handwritten in black marker. These pants display moderate game use with some toning and a couple of team repairs. Both the jersey and the pants come with individual COAs from the Indianapolis Colts authenticating that these items were worn by James during practice.
